Based on the current TV ratings, GMA is still enjoying the #1 spot, occupying the top 5 for both daytime and primetime shows.

Eat Bulaga(GMA) remains at the top with a glorious 4/5 win, flopping only on Monday when it ranked only second to Una Kang Naging Akin(GMA) which ended up in the third position for the whole week. Ranking second to Eat Bulaga for the whole week is Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan. At #4 is the long running drama series by teh Sexbomb Girls, Daisy Siete. And finally, making up the top 5 daytime shows is MariMar at #5.

The Boy-Kris tandem is still no good against the Janice-Gelli-Carmina trio. Also, ABS-CBN has to realize that Mexican telenovelas are a thing of the past.

Gagambino still reigns in the primetime slots with an average of 34.4% for the week ending. La Lola is not too far behind at #2 with an average of 33.53%, even being able to hit the #1 spot once within the week. At #3 is Codename: Asero with a consistent 30%+ rating for the whole week and winning a tie with Gagambino once. Struggling to maintain the #4 spot is the phenomenal reality show Survivor Philippines, finishing off with an average of 31.93% (Oct 27 not available). And finally, at #5 is the partnership of Mel Tiangco and Mike Enriquez, 24 Oras, still maintaining a strong lead over TV Patrol World.

You will notice huge gaps between the ratings of GMA shows and ABS-CBN shows, proving that the Kapamilya Network still has a lot to catch up on. It is also bizaare that 24 Oras was able to topple down ALL the flagship primetime shows of ABS-CBN. Lastly, it looks like the viewers have said “no” on the Banker’s offer on Deal or No Deal and chose to answer trivia questions with their family on Family Feud.

Her transfer to ABS-CBN from GMA Network gave her what she wants – rest. She got a lot of rest and much less of money and popularity. From #1 on FHM’s sexiest women, she is now nowhere to be seen or heard. She has rested indeed. And I have a slight feeling that she’d be resting from work for a long period of time… longer than she is willing to spend for resting. Thanks to ABS-CBN.

Now, Marian Rivera and Katrina Halili has trampled her into obscurity. Poor girl.

She is set to star in another Thalia hit series, Maria Mercedes, for ABS-CBN. This obviously to try her on a Thalia role also and see if it will be a hit. We’ll see.

Everybody knows her as the sexiest woman in the Philippines according to FHM, the super hot runner up from the pioneer batch of the first televised talent search of it’s kind, StarStruck by GMA Network, Inc.

Katrina Halili appeared in numerous primetime shows of GMA, including Lupin and MariMar, but most of her shows are in the afternoon.

She is the first StarStruck survivor to rank first in the FHM 100 sexiest women in the Philippines and the first Filipina celebrity to top the list twice in a row (2006 and 2007). She ranked 3rd in 2008 with Marian Rivera and Megan Fox in ranks 1 and 2, respectively.

Aside from her hot appeal, Katrina Halili is also known for her excellence in playing Antagonist roles. However, GMA wanted to try her out on protagonist roles so they set her up for 2 afternoon soaps with this kind of role.

In the Philippines, any famous actress or actor MUST have at least 1 sex scandal. It could be a cellphone video taken while making love, or a naked or scandalous picture. What’s amazing about Katrina Halili is that I’ve not really heard of any sex scandal about her but she remains desired and admired by men. Maybe she did not need a sex scandal to make her famous. Don’t you think?

Katrina Halili’s real name is Maria Katrina Irene Pe Halili. She was born on January 4, 1986 in Quezon City but was raised in El Nido, Palawan, Philippines.
