Nokia has recently announced their newest baby – the E61. It is the reduced version of the E71. Half the features for half the price as YugaTech describes it.
Here are some of the changes made to make up the features of Nokia E63:
- Camera was reduced from 3.2MP to 2MP
- E63 only has 3G while E71 has HSDPA 3.6Mbps
- GPS was taken out
- It now plastic casing instead of the classy metal casing for E71
- The phone got thicker from 10mm to 13mm
All other features have been retained such as the WiFi capability (802.11 b/g) and the Symbian OS version is still the same. The battery life is also still as powerful as it was on E71.
The phone was announced at the price of $250 or roughly around Php 12,000 – Php 13,000, which still makes it interesting despite the downgrades.
